How to Troubleshoot a Cargo Import

Common issues and errors with Cargo Imports are listed below.

Cargo Imports can fail due to a mismatch of received information and data entered in the Veson IMOS Platform.

Error - Invalid port data in the itinerary. Port data must have valid portNo, portUNCode, portExternalRef or portName

In this instance, the cargo import is falling due to mismatched port information received from the import and information Data Center > Port. Review the port information within the XML and ensure they match the information under the requested Port.
