What do I do if I see the error message "Inquiry external reference is already in use" when trying to save a Bunker Requirement?

FAQs > Error Messages > Cannot Save Bunker Requirement - "Inquiry external reference is already in use"

There may be instances when you want to change the bunkering port under the Inquiries and Purchase of a Bunker Requirement but encounter the following error message:

This occurs when the information is interfaced from an external source into IMOS and contains an external reference.

To resolve this:

  1. Remove the external reference from the Inquiries and Purchases grid and save the Bunker Requirement.

  2. Change the bunkering port.

  3. Re-enter the external reference and save.
