Why does the Rate field for a Cargo contract in the Trade Details Drilldown report not match the Net Daily TCE in the linked Benchmark Estimate?

A common explanation for the mismatch between the Rate and Net Daily TCE fields is the configuration of the Cargo contract’s Exposure tab, specifically the fuel grade.

Even with the TC Route and Fuel Rate prices entered, IMOS will not have a reference point for which bunkers need to be calculated and factored against freight revenue for the contract. Failure to input the red-enclosed information below will result in the Trade Details Drilldown displaying an inflated Rate value than what is found in the Benchmark Estimate.
