How to set up Port Activities ROBs to drive the Carbon Calculator (MRV/Berth-to-Berth)

IMOS, by default, calculates and captures consumption figures as Port to Port.

With regulations that leverage MRV, such as FuelEU and EU ETS, Berth-to-Berth logic is required.

To capture this information accurately, as MRV reporting requires, IMOS references PS, AF, LL, and PE Action Types and the ROBs to calculate Berth Consumption.

The overall structure of the Port Activities should be structured as follows: PS to AF (Sea), AF to LL (Port), and LL to PE (Sea)

If this structure is not met, the carbon calculator will not be based on Berth-to-Berth logic required by the EU regulations.

If there are multiple AF or LL Activity Types, IMOS will calculate using the first AF and the last LL available.

Setup

The required Activity Types (PS, AF, LL, PE) and capturing corresponding ROBs can be defined under Data Center → Port Activities via the Act Type and ROBs columns.
