Why is the energy calculated for bunkers in FUEL EU not as expected?
The energy value for bunkers is calculated as follows.
Total Energy (MJ) =
MT x 1,000,000 x LCV
Where MT is the bunkers consumed in MT, and LCV is defined in Fuel/Lube Types

However, on a bunker lifting we can define these fuel factors specifically and these will override the defaults.
(See IMOS - FuelEU Maritime Calculator | Capturing-Actual-Tested-Values-on-Voyage )
If Fuel Factors are not defined properly, this can lead to issues such as 0 MJ energy production.

Please ensure Fuel Factors are defined when linking Bunker Purchases to guarantee your Energy calculations are as expected.
