What is Insights?
Veson Insights is a new area within the Veson Platform that brings market-level maritime intelligence directly into the workflows you use every day. Rather than switching between separate tools or subscriptions to access vessel data and bunker prices Veson Insights surfaces that data in one place, through interactive dashboards embedded directly in the Veson Platform.
Dashboards are pre-built and ready to use, with filtering built in. All Veson Platform clients start off with access automatically. In future, we will offer premium tiers available for clients who want extended filtering, access to underlying data, and the ability to save and customise views.
How to Access
In the Veson Platform, go to Insights. Vessel Insights and Bunker Insights are available as sub-sections within this area.
Vessel Insights
Vessel Insights gives you access to validated vessel data for 65,000+ vessels, updated daily. You can. You can reach Vessel Insights three ways:

Native to IMOS: Search for any vessel by name from inside the platform and pull validated data directly into an IMOS record.

Insights Dashboards: Get a fleet-wide view without leaving the Veson Platform with options to filter, slice, and report on vessels. View dashboards covering vessel specs, ownership history, and more.

Vessel Insights API: For pulling vessel data into your own tools and workflows. See the API documentation provided directly in the Veson Platform.
Bunker Insights
Bunker Insights gives you an independent, comprehensive view of pricing, not just a single number:

Daily pricing for 1,300+ ports across HFO, LFO, and MDO fuel grades, at multiple quantities, with risk-adjustable confidence intervals

Historical time series for 20 bunkering hubs, so you can see how prices have moved

Forward price curves driven by CME crude futures, to help you look ahead

Scenario analysis that extends coverage to roughly 9,500 ports, any hypothetical crude price and quantity
