Enhanced FuelEU Calculation Type Configuration Update

This feature requires the configuration flag CFGDefaultFuelEUCalcType to be enabled.

There are now two new options for the CFGDefaultFuelEUCalcType configuration flag: Penalty TC Only, which applies the Penalty default only to Time Charter contracts, and Penalty Cargo Only, which applies the Penalty default only to Cargo contracts, allowing you to set different FuelEU calculation defaults based on contract type. This enhancement improves user experience, reduces manual data entry, and prevents PnL reporting inconsistencies. The existing N/A and Penalty options remain unchanged and continue to apply to all contract types. Contracts created before the configuration flag is set will not be updated, as this functionality only affects new contracts.

Invoicing & Payments

Multi-Currency Support for Special TC Invoices Update

This feature requires the configuration flag CFGEnableSpecialInvoiceCcySelection to be enabled.

You can now select a different currency for Special type invoices on Time Charter (TC) contracts that differ from the contract currency. This enhancement allows you to pay vessel owners in the expected currency (e.g., EUR) for FuelEU penalties while maintaining standard invoices in the contract currency (e.g., USD) for improved operational and regulatory compliance. This functionality is controlled by the new configuration flag CFGEnableSpecialInvoiceCcySelection.

New ECA Fuel Zone Added - Denmark 12NM Bornholm ECA Update

The new ECA zone: DENMARK 12NM BORNHOLM now covers Rønne and Greenland, ensuring accurate fuel consumption, ROB, and P&L calculations for voyages passing through these areas. This zone will only apply if the ECA - Baltic Sea zone is not enabled in your Fuel Zone setup. When enabled, it takes precedence over the North Sea SECA in overlapping areas.

New in Sustainability: Carbon Calculator - Agreed Rebill Fields for FuelEU and EU ETS Update

This feature requires the configuration flag CFGEnableCarbonCalcAgreedRebill to be enabled.

A new setting adds the Agreed Rebill Cost and Emission fields under the Fuel EU and EU ETS tabs in the Carbon Calculator. These agreed amounts override the Rebill Emissions Exp in the PnL and flow into invoicing.

New ECA Zone: Bohai Sea with Scrubber Restriction Update

A new ECA zone has been added: ECA - BOHAI SEA - SCRUBBER RESTRICTION. This ECA zone has a scrubbers allowed value of Closed Loop and is now available to configure in Fuel Zones. When configured, this ECA zone prioritizes scrubber settings over overlapping zones, notably ECA - China and ECA - Bohai Sea, enabling the use of more restrictive scrubber requirements in this region. If you are enabling this zone in your Fuel Zone setup, you can now mark the old ECA - Bohai Sea fuel zone inactive, as it will never apply. If you have auto-distance updates enabled, this will appear in your Ports List and Fuel Zones page after the auto-update runs on Friday.

TCO Bunker Adjustment in Estimate P&L Update

This feature requires the configuration flag CFGDisplayTCOBnkrAdjInEstPnL to be enabled. A schema update to version 51.9 is required to use this feature.

TCO Estimates now contain grids to enter estimated delivery and estimated redelivery bunker information, improving forecast accuracy for voyage profitability at the estimate stage. These values are carried from TCO estimates to TCO contracts on fixing. The values are used to calculate a TCO bunker adjustment line in the Estimate P&L based on delivery and redelivery port ROBs. The configuration flag CFGTCOBunkerAdj enables the TCO bunker adjustment. The configuration flag CFGAlwaysShowTCOBunkerAdj enables the redelivery component.

New Piracy Zone: JWLA-033 Indian Ocean Update

New piracy zone added: PIRACY-JWLA-033-INDIAN-OCEAN. This zone is now available to use in avoidance settings and routing preferences. This updated zone is meant to replace the zones PIRACY-JWLA-032-INDIAN-OCEAN and PIRACY-JWLA-027-PERSIAN-GULF. We will deactivate these zones in the coming weeks and will announce when we have done so.
